Once upon a time…
It all starts on a beautiful summer evening in July 2017. In fact, a party was scheduled for Friday, July 7, at Cantera (famous nightclub in Trieste) and Veronika and Marco-who did not yet know each other-decide to go there. In a daring way (ask the newlyweds for more details) the two got to know each other, and from then on they would never separate.
The days begin to be filled with good times together, such as walks along the Trieste-Barcolana Riviera, sumptuous Sunday dinners (Veronika is an excellent cook), exciting soccer games (Veronika loving Marco implicitly agreed to love Udinese as well), and especially frequent excursions to Friuli and Istria.
After a year and a half together in Trieste, it was time for our betrothed to turn their gaze outside the Alps: in fact, they decide to embark on a new chapter of their story together in faraway Luxembourg (the last remaining Grand Duchy in the world).
The harsh Luxembourg climate and the distance from their beloved native places does not cool our heroes' love, thanks to numerous returns to the shores of the Adriatic and a beautiful network of friends and affection that manages to make them feel at home in that small nation nestled between Germany, Belgium and France.
As in Manzoni's famous novel, the two beloved ones - after their many years of engagement - finally decide to tie the knot. In fact, in December 2023, in the beautiful seaside square in front of the church of St. Euphemia in Rovinj, Marco proposed, obtaining from a happily shocked Veronika, the fateful "Yes."
And so here we are at the wedding, ready to all live together a beautiful new chapter in a story, the best pages of which are yet to be written.
